Honors Obtained by Softimage Founder
All over years this software has gone through a number of changes. One of which became the creation of the module ACTOR a feature for character animation, for that Daniel Langlois the creator of Softimage received an Oscar for Engineering and Scientific Award from AMPAS.In this Module for the very first time the world has seen the light of Inverse Kinematics. Many other modifications which had been unveiled were the modules for simulations and dynamics. These were pipes that gave the designer capabilities to animate things by the movements of a computer mouse, sound recording in addition to the utilization of the system motion-capture.
